3-Ingredient Chicken Sausage Skillet

Just because this is one of the first recipes I ever posted, doesn't take away from the fact its a "favorite!" How can it not be? Three..simple as can be ingredients with just one measly pan to clean. If you don't have or like chicken sausage, any sausage works. Just make sure not to overlap the ingredients in the pan so you get a nice "char" at the end!


-1 (12 ounce) package chicken apple sausage OR sausage of your choice

-1 bunch asparagus spears, trimmed and cut into halves

-2 tablespoons olive oil

-Salt & pepper to taste



1.) Heat a large grill pan or 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.

2.) In a large resealable bag toss asparagus spears with olive oil until coated.

3,) Using tongs, place the sausage on the pan and cook with asparagus.

4.) Season with salt and pepper to your liking. Try not to flip the veggies or sausages for at least a few minutes to enhance the grill marks. (About 8-10 minutes cooking time.)

5.) Once everything is tender and charred transfer to a serving platter and ENJOY!
